Rachel Young

Rachel is from England.  She studied Psychology & Sociology at University and later completed  a CELTA English-teaching qualification.

Rachel started teaching in 2003 when she ran an English tutoring business in The Gambia, West Africa. Since moving to Switzerland, she has worked at international schools in Basel teaching both young learners and adults.

Rachel has two children and when she's not in the classroom she spend lots of time outdoors hiking in the countryside around Basel. She loves sport, especially running. Her weekends are usually spent cheering on her children at football matches or taking time for herself running trails in the forest near her home.
