Karen Kelsey

Karen Kelsey comes from Canada - how's that for alliteration? 

After stops in several countries, she settled in Switzerland and started teaching at Ahead with English in 2012.  Having lived in the United Kingdom and America, she can easily handle many accents.

Karen received her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph in Canada, her Master of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University in Scotland, and her CELTA certification here in Basel. 

In her free time, she loves to travel, often to visit her two sons, who reside abroad.

Karen comes from a long line of teachers, talkers, and readers, so this is the ideal job for her.
